Over
the past few months we've worked with many different and exciting
artists and we feel you should listen to each and every one of them.
Below is a list of the people we have worked with and eventually
there will be audio samples for you to dig your teeth into!
Bands/Artists
Baghera
Baghera originally formed in 2006 and
based in Nottingham, UK, the five piece hardcore/screamo band
has played with the likes of Trigger the Bloodshed, Still Remains
and Ghost of a Thousand, to mention just a few.
In late 2007 Blood Red Dawn was formed
from the remains of three Hull bands. A four piece metal/hardcore
band formed by like minded musicians who want to make a noise,
with influences from a range of musical tastes with the aim
to have a lot of fun and make heavy music with venom!
Chiefs of Leon are the ultimate tribute
to the Kings of Leon and Kaiser Chiefs. Since hitting the road
in early 2009 C.o.L have entertained thousands with a high octane
show. Playing all the hit and cult classics the way the songs
are meant to be played live.
Circus Envy are a rootsy five piece based
in East Yorkshire, with a sound equally influenced by classic
rock, folk rock and Americana. www.myspace.com/circusenvyband
Circus Envy - Stars Live
Divine
Oblivion
"We make music for ourselves, carving
out our own melodic metal niche, small but deep. We don't care
about the latest fashion, we don't care about if our style "fits"
and we don't care about making money. Our music defines who
we are and our obligation on this earth is to live without regret."
DreamCatcher are a six piece melodic metal
band from Leeds, UK, consisting of members each with their own
individual influences, ranging from Jazz to Progressive Metal.
By fusing all these influences but maintaining the Epic/Orchestral/Melodic
Metal edge the result is hopefully metal that appeals to more
than just metal fans.
Fight With Honour formed in mid June 2006,
Following the collapse of former bands Rob, Luke, Ray, and Fox
decided to get together and kick out the jams. So far everything
has been brutal!
Winners of Element Studio's Drum Extravanganza
givaway, Fortrius are set to embark on an adventure down from
Scotland to record a few tracks in the studio.
This 3 piece alternative metal band have
been on the Hull metal scene for a few years and are slowly
making a name for themselves with their music. Recently the
band signed an endorsement deal with Hagstrom
guitars.
Having formed in August 2006, the 3 lads
have already gained a large following and the reputation of
being a great live act, taking nationwide venues by storm and
embarking on a endless journey. Deciding to go in a different
musical direction than the setting trend of emerging indie bands,
the guys have a sound being described as 'polished walls of
energy' and a mix between 'the fast pulse of Green Day and songwriting
skills of a youthful Springsteen'. www.myspace.com/jokerzband

Mike
Rogers
Critically acclaimed solo artist Mike
Rogers is currently in the process of writing a new solo album
'British Skies' which should hopefully be completed at a later
date during the year. Over the last few years, Mike has enjoyed
increasing success. He hit the mainstream with "Life Factory,"
written on behalf of Hull City Council for Hull Royal Infirmary.
Mike was chosen from all local artists to write a fund raising
song for the hospital.
ONEYEOPEN...... a band of musical renegades
formed in the shady hills of Wales. Writing original material
inspired by a wide range of influences, this band of misfits
and oddballs get together in various forms to entertain the
live music lovin' punters and somtimes to raise a little cash
for the cause of the moment.
"Since late 2005 we have been gigging
up and down the UK, and in 2007 toured Germany and Holland.
In that time we recorded 2 E.P's and played with some amazing
bands. We are now back with our original vocalist and have had
a complete band switch around. We are now a 6 piece band with
2 stand alone vocalists, meaning our live shows are 100 times
more energetic than ever!"
We are a five strong heavy metal band
from York and have over two years of good live experience. After
a difficult start with some minor line up changes we fought
our way onto the local scene and since then have been moving
from strength to strength in terms of performance and energy.
Parasitized formed in Hull, England in
2009 and play Death Metal. They have shared the stage with the
likes of Zyklon (Ex Emperor), Cephalic Carnage, See You Next
Tuesday, Despised Icon, Dead Beyond Buried, Nailed, Knights
of the Abyss, and many more. Close friends of the studio, we
know these technical metallers are destined for big (and evil!)
things.
Phil is a long time friend of Element
producer, Dan Foster who he has known and worked with for many
years with the Phil Marhsall band. Phil has recorded four solo
albums, two of which at Abbey Road Studios in London, making
him only one of a handful independent artist that have ever
been allowed to record there. He has shared the stage with bands
like Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Sunshine Underground, Kula
Shaker, The Longpigs, Echo’s Subcircus, Sultans of Ping,
Orson and David Cook.

Red
Chevrons

originally formed in December 2007, and contain two original
members. Red Chevrons are looking forward to the future as they
have signed to Feed That Baby Records and will be releasing
their debut Ep and single in january 2010 available on iTunes
and various download sites.
We started mid 2008 as a side project
of members from Introrectalgestation (Leaddy) and Head Carnage
(Tom.A/Jay) of Hull, UK and a massive utter twat called Tom
Walker on drums, started making some slamming death metal with
lots of speed and fresh ideas. Expect quality songs in the near
future!

The
Smallvilles
After starting out in downtown Hull, The
Smallvilles rose to the top of the indie rock scene in 2008
with their debut release, The EP. With standout tracks
like Lana, Seeyalatersophie... and Mirrors,
don't be surprised if you find The Smallvilles at the top of
the indie rock charts and beyond.

Spread
the Venom
Spread The Venom was formed in October
2007 by Ceri and Nina. Hailing from Stowmarket (Suffolk) they
felt they wanted to do something a bit different and with Ceri(ex
Dead Lane Cross, ex Vividus) and Nina both sharing a love for
Industrial music (amongst other extreme genres of metal) they
decided to form Spread The Venom, an Industrial Thrash Metal
band.
A three piece original band hailing from
Hull, led by vocalist and guitarist Sean Thompson. They have
been together since May 2008 and already have written a number
of quality songs, completed a studio demo and played a number
of packed and energetic gigs throughout Hull and the north of
England.
"I’m originally from a small
town on the east coast of the United Kingdom. I’ve never
lived in one particular place for too long. I have great family
and friends who support me 100%. I eat, sleep and breathe music.
I always have. Why? You know I have no idea. I just love it."

Vultures
in Vivid Colours
We are Vultures In Vivid Colours, a 5
piece metal band from Hull. In the time we've been together
we've had the pleasure of sharing the stage with such bands
as:
Despised Icon, Postmortem Promises, Trigger The Bloodshed
A Bridge Too Far Recordings was started
in late 2006 by DJ /Producer Pat D as a way of releasing his
Jazzy Hip-Hop recordings. The label’s first release was
a 12? EP featuring American emcee ‘Melodiq’ called
‘This is the Time’. This record was a limited pressing
of just 500 copies. Since then the label has released several
Vinyl and CD recordings and received interest from overseas
especially Europe and Japan.
The “One Voice” album represents
unsigned metal bands coming together as one, to give a voice
to vulnerable children throughout the UK. The album will be
sold to raise money for the Child's Voice appeal run by the
NSPCC. The NSPCC themselves are very excited about the project,
and are helping to promote and advertise the album.
"We
had great fun recording and we are over the moon with our finished
product, we will definatly use Element Studio again and would advise
any band to go there."
Circus Envy:
"Fantastic
service. Dan and Dave did an outstanding job under immense time pressure
and we're really pleased with the result. We'll definitely be back"
Pantheon:
"Really
professional and relaxed atmosphere. The engineer, Dan, knew exactly
how to capture the best sound for metal and worked with us to achieve
our potential.
Probably the best studio we've been to, would recommend it to any
band in any genre"
Spread
the Venom:
"That
sounds f***ing lush guys, done an awesome job there, we had such fun
recording with you guys!"
ONEYEOPEN:
